Bradley and Ashton are getting married!

Brad proposed to Ashton on the 21st of December. Since then they have been busily planning their wedding and exploring their options. They went back to school a day or two early from Christmas break and were able to sell both their housing contracts at BYU and found an apartment close to campus the first day back. Brad moved into the apartment before classes started on Monday.
They are getting married on February 14th at 11:15 in the Bountiful Temple. There will be a reception that afternoon in Bountiful.
Ashton will graduate from BYU in April. She works for LDS Living Magazine.
We are so very excited for them. They're both such outstanding people. We're looking forward to a beautiful and fun Valentine's day!

Keri, our only child these days, is on line for an early graduation from PHS in January 09. She plans to nanny for a year before continuing her education. Keri has been having fun with friends and being a good kid. Having a missionary boyfriend is not a bad deal for parents. We will miss her, but maybe not so much after 11:00 when we can actually lock up the house and go to bed. Brad will miss her managing his social life. She even set him up with a facebook account this summer. Finally she admitted she was having to much fun and told him he needed to take it over and change the password. He just grins and takes it all in stride.

Elder Michael Kelley: Michael is serving in the Thiland, Bangkok Mission. He served as a translator in a branch presidency in his last area and is currently serving as a zone leader in Thailand's Northern city of Chiang Mai.

The kids were all so happy to have Uncle Brad home. He served in the New York, New York North Mission. He was home for a day and left us again for BYU, Provo.

Brad has 4 sisters to help plan his life. Lucky guy!

In June we took Brad and Keri to New York City to tour Brad’s mission. We walked a million miles. Brad really knew his way around on the subways and such. We ate at all the missionary hangouts; huge pizza in the Bronx, Soul food in Harlem, and Keri wouldn’t touch the dumplings in China town. She loved the street shopping though. We attended a baptism, met a lot of missionaries and President & Sister Searle and went to church in the Kingsbridge Ward in the Bronx. Everyone was so happy to see Brad. The spirit there was so intense. We also hit the usual tourist sites. We then drove to Palmyra to visit church history sites and on up to Niagara Falls. It was an incredible week.

The VanAmens put together a huge jeep trip to Moab. It was a blast! This is the Allens.

Colin, Garrett, Robyn All 11 grandkids have their own unique personalities, gifts and talents. They are the greatest!

Trip to St. George in March was a nice spring break. We visited with family, saw all the sites and made a quick trip to Vegas to show Keri the lights. After seeing Bob and Gloria's 4 wheeler Byron had our own in the garage by May.

Easter was a bit to much for Cannon.
